Product details

The SkimPro SP-B is a replacement skimmer basket with a vented tower, made for Baker-Hydro skimmers. It is a deep skimmer basket, and it stands 18-1/2 in. from the base to the top of the tower.

What the vented tower does

An ordinary basket chokes off flow the moment it fills with leaves. The patented SkimPro tower is vented, so water keeps circulating through the skimmer even when the basket is loaded. That protects the pump motor from a starved suction line and helps keep the water moving instead of going stagnant, which is where algae starts.

Fitting it

The Baker-Hydro is a deep skimmer with a clear dish control plate that fits over the basket area. That plate comes out when the SkimPro basket goes in. A handle on the basket means you can lift it out without putting your arm in the water.

Which skimmers does the SP-B fit?
Baker-Hydro skimmers. SkimPro makes the basket in three models, and SP-B is the Baker-Hydro one.
What are the dimensions?

What about the control plate in my skimmer?
