The Poolstyle PS016B is a replacement skimmer basket for above ground pools. It measures 6-1/2 inches across the top outside diameter, 3-7/8 inches across the bottom outside diameter, and 2-7/8 inches tall.
Check the fit
Skimmer baskets are not interchangeable by eye. The basket tapers from top to bottom, so the throat diameter, the base diameter and the depth all have to line up with your skimmer body. Measure all three before ordering rather than matching on appearance.
Why it matters
The skimmer basket is the first thing standing between fallen leaves and the pump. Once it cracks or the rim breaks, debris passes straight through to the pump strainer and the flow drops off. A basket is inexpensive next to a pump repair, so it is worth replacing at the first split.
