The SuperPro 25504-000-100 is the 3/8 inch plastic replacement valve used in pool automatic fillers and water levelers. It is the piece that actually opens and closes against the float, so it is the part that wears.
When to replace it
Two symptoms point at the valve. Either the pool keeps rising because the valve no longer seats when the float lifts, or the pool level drops and nothing tops it up because the valve has stuck shut with scale or grit. In both cases the housing and float are usually fine.
Fitting
The valve is a plastic component sized for the 3/8 inch supply line, so it goes back into the existing leveler body without disturbing the deck. Shut the water supply off at the stop before you open the leveler.
