Product details

The Stetson Development SDI 1-2 AFT is the WaterLev 1/2 in. MPT plastic float valve, an auto fill valve for pool water levelers, fountains, ponds and other water features.

What it does

A float valve opens as the water level drops and closes as the float rises, which keeps a pool or water feature topped up without attention. The WaterLev has a 1/2 in. MPT standard pipe thread inlet and a free flow outlet. Its arm is adjustable and can be used in a vertical or a horizontal position, so you can set the level to suit the installation.

Construction and flow

The valve is built of ABS with a PVC float. The float is 2 in. in diameter and 4.5 in. long, and the entire float unit is approximately 7.5 in. in overall length. The estimated flow rate is 1.5 gpm at 40 psi through a .093 orifice, and the pressure rating is 40 psi. The color is white, and the valve is sold as salt friendly.
