The Rola-Chem Paradise Pool Sentry autofill, part M-3000, is an automatic water leveler. It keeps the pool at its working level so the job does not fall to a hose and someone remembering to turn it off.

Why the level is worth automating

Evaporation, splash out and backwashing all pull the surface down, and the pool does not wait for a convenient moment. Once the water falls below the skimmer mouth the pump begins drawing air, which is how a system loses prime and how a shaft seal ends up running dry. An autofill catches that before it becomes a service call.

The side benefit

What does an autofill do?
