Why a flowmeter
Flow rate is the number behind turnover, heater performance and filter sizing, and on a commercial pool it is usually what an inspector asks to see. A meter reading nothing, or reading obviously wrong, makes every one of those judgments guesswork. That is the point at which a clouded or clogged unit gets replaced.
