The Blue-White Industries F-30300P is a 3 inch PVC flow meter from the F-300 Series. It reads directly off the scale on the meter body, with no power supply or transmitter involved.

What a flow meter tells you

Filter pressure only shows resistance. It says nothing about how much water is actually moving. A flow meter on the line gives the number every other calculation depends on: whether turnover is being met, whether a heater is getting its minimum flow, whether a chemical feeder is being fed at the rate it was set up for. On commercial systems the reading is often required rather than optional.
