Product details

The H2Flow Controls FV-2 is a FlowVis flow meter for 2 in. Sch 40 PVC with a check valve built into the same body. It reads in gallons per minute on a large, clear scale and gives you an accurate flow number wherever a check valve would normally go in the plumbing.

Accuracy without the fuss

FlowVis meters hold 98.1% or better accuracy across the range and need no calibration. Unlike many flow meters, they are not fussy about placement: the FV-2 installs horizontally, vertically or even upside down, and works with little to no straight pipe on either side, which makes it practical on a crowded equipment pad.

Certified and built in the USA

FlowVis has more NSF 50 certified models than any other flow meter brand and is the first flow meter for pools and spas certified for outdoor use. The FV-2 is manufactured in the USA.

Growing with the system

If you later want a digital display or a signal to an automation system, the FV-D digital upgrade fits every FlowVis model. Sizes from 1.5 in. to 8 in. are available in the range, so the same meter family can be used across a whole property.

Does the FV-2 replace my existing check valve?
It can. The 2 in. FlowVis body has a check valve built in, so it goes where a check valve would normally sit and gives you a flow reading in the same fitting.
Does it need a long straight run of pipe?
No. FlowVis can be installed with little to zero straight pipe before or after it without hurting accuracy, and it works horizontally, vertically or upside down.
Does it need calibrating?
No. It installs and reads without any calibration.
Can I get a digital reading from it later?
Yes. The FV-D digital upgrade is available for all FlowVis models, including this one.
