This is the replacement pressure gauge for Paramount water valves, part number 005-302-3590-00. It is listed for the PCC 2000, Pool Valet, PV3, Cyclean, Vanquish and Vantage in floor cleaning systems.

What it tells you

An in floor cleaning system works by cycling pressure through the water valve out to the floor heads. The gauge on that valve is the one place you can see whether the system is building the pressure it should. When the gauge dies, troubleshooting a weak head or a valve that is not indexing turns into guesswork.

Fitting it

Screw the gauge in hand tight, then turn it one half turn further with a wrench on the flats. Use the flats, not the gauge body, and stop there. Overtightening is the most common way a new gauge gets ruined during installation.
