The H2Flow Controls FVJ-R-15 is the FlowVis retrofit model for 1.5 in. Jandy valve bodies. It is also listed as FV-J-R-15.
How the retrofit works
Rather than cutting in a separate flow meter, the FlowVis top replaces the top of a 1.5 in. Jandy valve already in the plumbing. The valve body stays where it is and the system gains a flow reading at that point.
Why the reading matters
Flow rate is what pump speeds, filter capacity and heater minimums are actually specified against. With a reading at the valve you can see the effect of a speed change or a dirty filter instead of guessing at it. Confirm your valve body is the 1.5 in. Jandy size before ordering, since this model does not fit the larger body.
