Product details
The Blue-White Industries C-395N-6A is an injection check valve for 3/8 inch chemical feeder tubing. It is the genuine Blue-White part, with a polypropylene body and a 1/4 inch by 1/2 inch male pipe thread connection.
Where it sits in the system
The injection check valve is the last fitting on a chemical feed line, at the point where the feeder discharges into the plumbing. It lets the pump push chemical forward and holds everything else back, so pool water cannot travel up the tubing toward the pump when the feeder is idle.
When to replace it
Injection points live in a harsh spot. Scale builds on the seat, the elastomer hardens, and the valve stops sealing. A feed line that drains back, or a fitting that weeps at the injection point, usually points at the check valve rather than the pump.
