Product details

Pentair 521508 is the genuine black suction fitting for IntellipH chemical containers. It sits on the tank and is the point where the system draws chemical out of the container.

Why it wears out

The inside of a chemical container is a hard place for plastic. Acid vapor works on the fitting continuously, and over time it hardens, crazes and eventually cracks. When that happens the system loses suction, dosing goes off, and chemical can weep out at the cap.

Getting the right fitting

IntellipH uses more than one fitting on the container, and the easiest way to tell them apart is color. This is the black suction fitting. The vent fitting for the controller is gray and is a separate Pentair part, so check the color and the position on the tank before ordering.

Suction. The vent fitting for the IntellipH controller is a separate gray part.

The Pentair IntellipH chemical container. It is Pentair part 521508.
Does the tubing come with it?
No. This listing is the fitting only. IntellipH and IntelliChem tubing is sold separately.
Why would I need to replace it?
