Pentair Parts Bag for Rainbow Chlorinator 300, R172064

Pentair R172064 is the parts bag for the Rainbow offline chlorinator, covering models 300, 302, 300-19 and 300-29. It gathers the hookup and control hardware for the feeder into one package.

What is in it

The bag holds the 172060 control valve with its compression nut, the 172061 combination check valve elbow, the 172034 saddle clamp, the 172032 tube fitting with compression nut, the 172033 gasket and 172036 silicone lubricant. Between them, those are the pieces that plumb the feeder into the return line and meter the flow through it.

When to reach for it

An offline feeder gets its hardest use at the fittings. Compression nuts get overtightened, gaskets take a set, the saddle clamp weeps, and a tired check valve elbow lets chlorinated water push back where it should not go. Rebuilding the connections one part at a time turns into several orders. This bag covers the set in one go, and the silicone lubricant is in there so the o-rings and compression fittings seat properly on reassembly.

This bag is for the 300, 302, 300-19 and 300-29. The commercial 300-29X takes a different feeder parts bag, so read the model number off the feeder body before ordering.
