The Pentair Rainbow R18706 is the compression nut used on the 1/4 in. tubing connections of the Rainbow chemical feeder. It fits the 300, 302, 300-19 and 300-29 feeders.
What it does
The nut threads onto the fitting and clamps the 1/4 in. feed tube in place. It is the piece that holds the seal, so when it cracks, strips or will no longer draw down tight, the connection starts to weep chemical instead of feeding it.
Before you order
This is the nut only. The check valves and the poly tubing that run with it are separate items, so if the tubing is stiff or discolored it is worth replacing at the same time. Keeping a spare nut on the shelf saves a service call when one strips during a routine feeder rebuild.
