Product details

Pentair Rainbow R172037 is the chlorine chamber for the 300 and 320 series automatic chlorinators, covering models 300, 302, 300-19, 300-29 and 320.

What the chamber is

It is the body of the feeder, the vessel the tablets stack inside while water passes through and dissolves them. Everything else on the chlorinator, the lid, the seal and the control, is built around it.

Why it wears out

Nothing else on the equipment pad holds chlorine at that concentration for that long. Over years the plastic hazes, crazes and eventually cracks. Once it does, the feeder weeps water onto the pad and the dose becomes unpredictable. Replacing the chamber returns the feeder to a sealed vessel without the cost of a whole new unit.

Before you order

This listing is the chamber only. Confirm your feeder is in the 300 or 320 series, and plan to renew the lid seal at the same time since it will have been sitting against the old chamber.
