The Blue-White Industries FLEXFLO A1N30A-7T is a peristaltic metering pump from the A-100N series, supplied with a built in analog timer. It meters up to 95.1 gallons per day against as much as 50 PSI, through a 7/16 inch OD tube, in a polypropylene body.

How a peristaltic pump works

Instead of pushing chemical through a check valve, a peristaltic pump runs rollers along a flexible tube and squeezes the solution forward. Nothing in the chemical path can clog the way an injection head does, which is why these pumps get specified for solutions that foul conventional feeders. The tube is the only wearing part in contact with the chemical.

The timer and the tube

The analog timer means the pump can run a feed schedule on its own rather than waiting on a separate controller. Blue-White also builds a patented tube failure detection system into the FLEXFLO peristaltic line, so a tube that gives way is caught rather than quietly leaking chemical into the pump head.
