Product details

The Hayward AC035 is a peristaltic chemical feed pump, part of the Hayward Commercial chemical storage and feed line. It doses liquid at precise, repeatable rates.

How a peristaltic pump works

Rollers squeeze a flexible tube along its length and push the liquid ahead of them. Nothing but the tube ever touches the chemical, which is why this style of pump handles the fluids that destroy conventional pumps: bases, slurries and corrosives.

What it feeds

Chlorine, acid solution and CO2, the three feeds that keep commercial water sanitized and in balance. Accurate metering matters more here than raw output, because dosing too much or too little both cost money and both show up in the water within hours.

Service life

On any peristaltic pump the tube is the consumable, not the pump. Keeping a spare feed tube on the shelf means a worn tube is a five minute job rather than a day out of service.
