Quick overview

  • No installation Attaches to a standard garden hose and sits in place, with no plumbing, wiring or tools involved.
  • Shuts itself off Once the pool reaches the level you set, the leveler closes the water off on its own.
  • Portable Not plumbed in, so it can be moved around the pool or taken away entirely.
  • Protects the pump Holding the skimmer level keeps the pump from running dry, which is what kills seals and motors.
  • Good for a house you leave Useful on rentals and vacation properties where nobody is there to top the pool up.
  • White lid White lid version; CMP also offers the AquaLevel in tan.

Product details

The CMP AquaLevel keeps an in ground pool at the water level you choose without any plumbing work. It runs from a standard garden hose, sits at the skimmer, and closes the water off by itself once the level is right.

Nothing to install

Most automatic fillers are plumbed into the deck and tied to a water line. The AquaLevel is not. Connect a hose, set it in place, turn the water on and it takes over. No tools, no trenching, no permanent change to the pool.

Why the level matters

When evaporation pulls the water below the skimmer mouth, the pump starts drawing air. Running dry is what wrecks pump seals and shortens motor life, and it happens quietly over a hot week. Holding the level steady removes that risk and saves the daily check.

Where it earns its keep

It is most useful on a pool nobody watches every day: a rental, a vacation house, or any pool during a stretch of heat. Because it is portable it can be moved or stored when it is not needed. This version has the white lid; a tan lid is also available.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Does it have to be plumbed in?
No. The AquaLevel is portable. It connects to a standard garden hose and needs no plumbing and no tools.
Will it overfill the pool?
No. It shuts the water off automatically once the water reaches the level you have set at the skimmer.
Why does the water level matter that much?
If the level drops below the skimmer the pump starts pulling air and can run dry, which damages the seal and shortens the life of the motor.
What colors are available?
This listing is the white lid. CMP also makes the AquaLevel with a tan lid.
