The Jandy SOL100 is a 1 in. black plastic solenoid valve with flow control, running on a 24 VAC coil. It is the Jandy Pro Series replacement valve for the Levolor water leveling system and is the valve supplied in the Levolor R-Kit.
How it works
A water leveling system watches the pool level with a sensor and opens a valve on the fill line when the water drops. This is that valve. The coil is low voltage, so the controller switches 24 VAC rather than mains power, and the built in flow control lets the fill rate be set instead of dumping water at full flow.
When to replace it
Two symptoms point here. A leveler that never fills, where the controller is calling but no water moves, and a leveler that will not stop, where the valve has failed open and keeps feeding after the signal is gone. If the system is not calling for fill at all, the level sensor is the other half of the system to check, and it is a separate part.
