Product details

The SuperPro K634BU1 is a socket type rope hook cleat for 3/4 inch pool safety rope. It is the anchor point the rope terminates on at each side of the pool.

Socket type

A socket type hook seats into a deck socket rather than bolting flat onto the deck, which is the same mounting arrangement handrails and ladders use. Look at what is already set into your deck before ordering, because a surface mounted cleat and a socket type hook are not interchangeable.

Why it is worth replacing

Pool deck hardware lives in a wet, chlorinated environment and corrodes from the inside of the socket outwards. The hook takes the full load any time a swimmer grabs the safety rope, so a hook that is pitted, bent or loose in its socket is a safety concern rather than a cosmetic one.

The hook is supplied on its own. Rope and rope floats are separate items.

3/4 inch pool safety rope.
What does socket type mean?
It seats into a deck socket, the same style of anchor a handrail or ladder uses, rather than being surface mounted with fasteners. Check what your deck already has before ordering.
Does the rope come with it?
No. This is the hook on its own. Safety rope and the floats that go on it are ordered separately.
