Product details

The Poolstyle 33855P premium winter closing kit carries a pool up to 30,000 gallons through the closed season. The chemicals are formulated to keep the water clear from closing through to early spring.

What is in it

Four products. A 30% non-foaming algaecide to hold algae down. Winter stain and scale control, a dispersant and scale inhibitor that removes and controls scale, stains and other deposits. Seasonal finish, which conditions the water for the idle months and improves sanitizer effectiveness. And premium winter phosclear, which removes phosphates by dropping them to the pool floor for vacuuming.

Why it matters at closing

Water sits still and untreated for months once the cover goes on. Taking phosphates out and holding scale and algae in check at closing is what decides how much work opening turns into. The seasonal finish is safe for vinyl, fiberglass and gunite pools.

Will it work on a vinyl liner?
The seasonal finish is listed as safe for vinyl, fiberglass and gunite pools.
