Product details

Orenda PR-10000 is a phosphate remover concentrate, supplied here in a 1 gallon bottle under part number PR-10000A-GAL.

Why phosphates matter

Phosphate arrives in a pool from fill water, run off, leaves and some treatment products, and it acts as a nutrient. Sanitizer still has to do the sanitizing, but water carrying a heavy phosphate load gives algae something to feed on, which is why an otherwise well kept pool can keep fighting the same problem.

Using it

This is a concentrate, so follow the label for dose and for how it should be added. Phosphate removers commonly cloud the water while the reaction runs, so keep the filter going and expect to clean it once the water clears.
