Orenda CV-600 is a catalytic enzyme water cleaner supplied in a 1 quart bottle. It is aimed at the part of the water load that sanitizer handles badly: oils and non-living organics.
The problem it addresses
Sunscreen, body oil, cosmetics, pollen and airborne grime all end up in the water. Chlorine will eventually oxidize them, but it burns through sanitizer doing it and leaves the water looking flat in the meantime. The same material collects at the surface and prints a scum line around the tile. CV-600 breaks that organic load down instead, which is why it is described as increasing chemical efficiency.
