Super Blue is the Robarb clarifier from GLB, part number 71205. It is a concentrated formula: one ounce treats 5,000 gallons, which makes it an inexpensive way to bring a cloudy pool back to clear.
What it does
A clarifier gathers the fine particles that a filter cannot catch on its own into clumps large enough to be trapped. Super Blue clears cloudy water quickly and keeps haze from returning, and because it takes dirt particles out of circulation it also lowers the demand on your sanitizer. It works across a range of water temperatures and chemical levels, and it does not affect pH or the rest of your chemistry.
How to use it
Dilute the dose in a bucket of water, then pour it evenly around the perimeter of the pool. Adding part of the mix to the skimmers gives filter efficiency an immediate lift. Run the filter for 8 hours without stopping, then vacuum up what has settled. Nothing more is needed until the following week.
After a shock treatment
If you have just shocked, superchlorinated or used an algaecide, wait 4 to 12 hours before adding Super Blue. Used that way it clears out dead algae and organic debris. It is compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone and biguanide, it will not clog any filter type, and the pool is safe to swim in right after treatment.
