Product details

Pool Season stain and scale control is a one quart liquid treatment for two related problems: scale forming out of high calcium water, and staining from dissolved metals.

Scale and metals

Calcium that comes out of solution leaves scale on plaster, tile and inside heater tubes and filters. Iron, copper and manganese do the same thing as stains, and often show up first as green or brown tinted water rather than as marks on the surface. This product works on both, inhibiting scale formation and keeping metals held in the water.

Where it helps most

It is used to prevent copper, iron and manganese stains, to clear metal tinted water, and to help lift fresh metal stains from pool surfaces. Follow the dosing instructions on the bottle for your pool volume.
