Pool Season Complete Opening Kit, 30K Gallon

The Pool Season spring opening kit brings together the chemicals a pool needs on the day it comes off the cover, in quantities set for pools up to 30,000 gallons.

What is in the box

Four bags of chlorinating concentrate granular pool shock at 99 percent sodium dichloro, two quarts of stain and scale control, one quart of super water clarifier, two quarts of Algaecide 60 and a bottle of 50 Aqua Chek chlorine 3-way test strips. The shock handles the bacteria, algae and organic load that built up over the closed months. The stain and scale product protects the surfaces and the equipment. The clarifier binds fine particles so the filter can catch them, and Algaecide 60 keeps green, mustard and black algae from taking hold once the water warms.

How it is meant to be used

The strips read chlorine, pH and total alkalinity, so the balance can be checked as the treatments take effect rather than guessed at. Working through the kit gives a first time owner a defined order of operations, and gives an experienced one a single box instead of five separate purchases.
