Orenda CV-700 is a catalytic enzyme water cleaner with a phosphate remover blended into the same formula, supplied in a 1 gallon bottle.

What the enzyme does

Pools collect non-living organics: sunscreen, body oils, lotions, everything a swimmer brings in. That load is called bather waste, and left alone chlorine has to oxidize it. The stabilized enzyme in CV-700 breaks those organics down instead, so the sanitizer is not spent on them. Removing bather waste is what keeps chlorine working on the job it is actually there for.

Why the phosphate remover is in it

Phosphates are a separate problem, and one chlorine cannot touch. They cannot be oxidized or removed by chlorine at all, which is why a dedicated remover is needed. CV-700 blends one in, so a single product addresses both the organic load and the phosphate level rather than needing two dosing routines.
