The Pool Season Spring Start-up Kit brings together the chemicals an opening takes for a pool up to 15,000 gallons: shock, stain and scale control, clarifier, algaecide and test strips, in quantities already matched to that volume.
The order things happen in
Test first with the AquaChek strips in the box so you know where chlorine, pH and total alkalinity actually sit. Then shock with the granular chlorinating concentrate to burn through what accumulated over the winter. The Stain and Scale Control goes in to keep dissolved metals and hardness from staining plaster or plating out on the heater, and the Super Water Clarifier follows to pull the very fine haze into particles the filter can hold. Algaecide 60 is the one that stops the green rather than reacting to it.
Why a kit instead of separate bottles
The quantities are pre matched to a 15,000 gallon pool, so there is no arithmetic on opening day and no trip back to the store for the one product that ran out halfway through. For pools of other sizes, check the volume against the kit before ordering.
