EasyCare Scaletec Plus is a descaler and stain remover supplied in a 64 oz bottle. It removes calcium buildup from pool surfaces, tile and equipment, and it sequesters iron, copper and manganese.
What it replaces
The traditional answer to scale and stained tile is draining the pool and acid washing it, or paying for professional tile cleaning. Both cost real money and both take the pool out of service. Scaletec Plus works on the buildup chemically instead, which is where the savings come from.
On a salt pool
The cell is the first thing scale attacks, and a scaled cell makes less chlorine for the same run time. Scaletec Plus is used as a cell cleaner and protector as well as a surface treatment, and it helps the cell hold its output.
