EasyCare Startup-Tec 70064 is a 64 oz startup treatment for new and remodeled pool finishes. It is made for plaster, quartz and pebble surfaces during the critical first days after the pool is filled.
Why a startup product
A fresh finish releases material into the water and needs careful handling before it is treated like a normal pool. Startup-Tec is built to shorten that window: EasyCare states it significantly reduces the labor and the acid a conventional startup demands, and completes most startups in about 3 days with superior finish results.
Dosing
Use one bottle per 10,000 gallons on a plaster or quartz finish. Pebble finishes take two bottles per 10,000 gallons. The product is listed for in ground, residential and commercial pools as well as spas, hot tubs and fountains.
