Pool Season non-chlorine shock is an oxygen based oxidizing treatment supplied in 1 lb bags, 24 to a case. The active ingredient is 42.8% potassium peroxymonosulfate, which delivers 4.5% active oxygen.

What it does

Shock is about burning off the organic load that swimmers leave behind. That waste dulls the water and consumes sanitizer, and until it is oxidized away the pool never quite looks right. This treatment removes it and restores the sparkle without adding chlorine.

Back in the water quickly

Because it is not chlorine based, swimming is allowed within 15 minutes after treatment. It is suitable for all pool surfaces, and the case of 24 bags covers routine weekly dosing through a season.
