Product details

Pool Season stabilizer and conditioner is 100% cyanuric acid in a 1.75 lb bottle. Its one job is to protect the chlorine already in the pool from the sun.

How it works

Free chlorine breaks down fast under ultraviolet light. Cyanuric acid binds loosely to it and shields it, which reduces the loss caused by the sun and prolongs the effective life of the chlorine you have paid for. The ideal level is 40 ppm.

Using it

The product dissolves completely when applied as directed. Because it is 100% cyanuric acid with nothing else in the bottle, the whole dose goes to raising the stabilizer reading.
