The Hayward CLX200EGA is the cover retaining screw for the CL200 and CL220 chemical feeders, supplied with its slip washers and the center cap. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What the screw does
The feeder cover seals against an o-ring, and the center screw is what pulls it down hard enough to hold pressure. The slip washers sit under the head so the screw can turn without dragging on the cover as it tightens.
When to replace it
Chlorine is hard on hardware. A screw that has corroded, stripped or lost its washers will not clamp the lid evenly, and the feeder starts to weep at the cover. Replacing the screw kit is the first and cheapest thing to try. If the leak stays, the cover o-ring is the next part to look at.
