The Hayward CLX220K is the saddle clamp used on Hayward chlorine feeders. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What it holds together
An off line chlorinator taps into the return line through a saddle fitting. The clamp is what pulls that saddle down onto the pipe and keeps it there. As long as the clamp is tight, the tap seals. When the clamp cracks or relaxes, the saddle lifts a fraction and the joint starts to seep, usually right where nobody wants water: on top of the pipe at the equipment pad.
