Product details

Hayward CLX200C is the cap for the CL200, CL220 and CL220BR chlorine feeders. It is the piece that comes off when tablets go in, which means it takes the most handling and the most direct exposure to feeder fumes of anything on the unit.

Order it knowing what is in the box. This is the cap alone. The cover, the cover o-ring and the cover screw with washer are all separate Hayward part numbers, so a full rebuild of the top of the feeder takes more than this one line.

One note on naming

Hayward material describes CLX200C both as the chlorinator cap and as the cover lid. The two names are used interchangeably in the source, so hold the old part up against the photograph and confirm you are ordering the piece that actually failed.

Replacement is straightforward: relieve pressure, isolate the feeder, and thread the new cap on with the o-ring seated and clean.

No. Hayward supplies this as the cap on its own. The cover, the cover o-ring and the cover screw with washer are separate part numbers.
Is CLX200C the cap or the cover lid?
