Product details

The CMP 52000-200-102 is the salt cell housing for the PowerClean Ultra salt chlorine generator. It is the genuine CMP part.

What it is

The housing is the plumbed body that the salt cell sits inside. Pool water passes through it on the way back to the pool, and the cell does its work in that flow. The housing takes the pressure and holds the seal.

Housing, not cell

This listing is the body only. The PowerClean salt cell is ordered separately and is chosen by pool volume. The SCG o-ring is separate as well, and it is worth fitting a new one while the system is open.

When to replace it

Years of hot, salted water eventually take their toll on the plastic. A housing that has cracked, is weeping at the seam, or no longer seals against the cell has reached the end of its service life.
