This is the CompuPool CPX-POWER PCBA, the power circuit board used in the CPX series salt chlorinator control unit.

What the power board does

A salt chlorinator generates chlorine by pushing current through the plates of the cell. The power board is the part that produces and controls that current. When it fails, the symptoms range from a unit that will not power up at all to one that lights up normally while producing no chlorine, and the cell often gets blamed for a fault that sits on the board.

Which CompuPool systems is this board for?

What does the power board do?
