Product details

The Jandy R0694000 is the housing for the Jandy Pro Series TruClear chlorine generating system. It is the genuine Jandy part.

What it is

The housing is the plumbed body in the return line that the TruClear cell seats into. The cell does the chlorine production; the housing holds it, carries the water through it and takes the plumbing connections. The two are bought separately.

When to replace it

Housings are not a wear item. They get changed after physical damage: a freeze split, a crack at a union, or a body damaged during a service. If the cell still tests good, a fresh housing is all that stands between you and a working system. The cell o-ring and the winterizing cap are separate parts and are worth ordering at the same time.
