The Hayward CX3020FB is the outlet elbow for the SwimClear cartridge filter range. It is the fitting that takes filtered water out of the tank and back toward the returns, and it is the genuine Hayward part.
When it needs replacing
Almost always a leak. A hairline crack at the elbow body, a chewed sealing face, or threads that no longer pull up tight will all show as water at the outlet side of the filter under pump pressure. Once an elbow is cracked it does not come back with sealant.

CX3020FB is listed for the SwimClear C2020, C2025, C3020, C3025, C4020, C4025, C5020 and C5025. Other sources on the same part also reference the C5520, the C7000 and the C2030 through C7030 tanks.
