Product details

Yellow Out is a shock enhancing treatment in a 4 lb container. It does not replace your chlorine shock, it makes it hit harder, which is what stubborn yellow and green algae need.

Dosing

For an aggressive algae cleanup use 3 lbs per 10,000 gallons. For standard treatment use 1 lb per 10,000 gallons. Always mix the product with water in a bucket before it goes in the pool. Pre-mixing is what gets it distributed safely and evenly rather than settling in a heap on the floor.

Timing

Apply at night and allow 8 to 10 hours before anyone swims. Working overnight keeps the treatment out of full sun while it does its job.

What it does to the water

Along with the chlorine boost it raises pH and water hardness, so it lifts overall water quality while it treats. Retest and rebalance once the pool has cleared.
