Product details

SuperPro O-367-9 is a replacement valve cover o-ring measuring 5-5/8 inches inside diameter with a 1/8 inch cross section. It appears on the Sta-Rite SwimQuip 1-1/2 inch multiport valve parts breakdown for models 14962 and 14964.

What it seals

The cover o-ring sits between the valve cover and the valve body. It takes the full pressure of the system every time the pump runs, and it is squeezed and released again each time the cover comes off for service. Over a few seasons it takes a set, goes hard, or splits, and the valve starts weeping from under the cover.

Before you order

O-rings of similar size are easy to confuse, so measure the old one across the inside and check the thickness of the ring itself before ordering. The same part is cross referenced as 4685-14 and 90-423-5255. Lubricate with a silicone based o-ring lubricant on installation, not petroleum grease.
