Product details

SuperPro O-130-9 is the replacement o-ring for the valve cap shaft. It is a small seal with a specific job: it keeps water from tracking up the shaft where it passes through the valve cap.

When to change it

A valve that weeps or seeps around the cap is almost always a shaft seal problem before it is anything else. The o-ring is the cheapest part in the assembly and the first one to replace. Once a seal has been compressed in service it takes a permanent set, so fit a new one rather than putting the old one back.
