Product details

Magic Lube II is a silicone based lubricant and sealer in a 5 oz tube, Aladdin part 651. It is formulated for use under adverse conditions, and it is the grease service techs carry for the o-rings around a pool and spa.

Why not a petroleum grease

Petroleum based products corrode rubber. That catches people out, because many of the best known lubricants on the shelf are petroleum based. Put one on a pump lid o-ring or a diverter shaft seal and the rubber swells, softens and fails early. Magic Lube II is silicone, so it can go on every o-ring in and around the pool.

Where it is used

Valves and other applications that need the added protection of a silicone compound: pump lid o-rings, filter tank o-rings, diverter shafts, unions and gaskets. It is non melting, completely waterproof and chemical resistant, and it is USDA H-1 rated.
