Atlas Minerals & Chemicals Pool Putty Epoxy Plaster Repair, 2-Part White 14 oz

Epoxybond Pool Putty from Atlas Minerals & Chemicals is a two part epoxy putty made for plaster repairs on concrete and gunite pools. It comes as a 14 oz cartridge of resin and hardener in white, and it cures under water, so cracks and leaks below the waterline can be fixed without lowering the pool.

Mixing

The ratio is 1 to 1. Cut equal lengths of resin and hardener, mix them above water and knead until the putty is one even color. There is nothing to weigh or measure.

Under water

Clear the area of loose plaster, slime and algae, then press the mixed putty firmly into the crack or void. Apply it at least 1/16 in. thick and leave it alone until it has fully cured. Once set it will not shrink or sag.

Above water

Clean off grease, rust and loose material and rough up the surface with a wire brush or sandpaper so the epoxy has something to grip. After pressing the putty in place you can shape or smooth it with a wet sponge before it hardens. A black version is available for dark finishes.
