Product details

This is the FT tile from the Inlays depth marker range, part number C613500. It is a 6 inch by 6 inch smooth waterline tile carrying the letters FT in a 4 inch height.

How depth markings are built

A pool depth marking is assembled from single tiles, one character at a time. The number tiles give the figure and this tile supplies the FT that follows it, so a 3 FT marking uses the 3 tile and this one. Order one FT tile for every depth position you are marking around the pool.

Smooth waterline tile

The smooth finish is the waterline version, made to sit in the tile band at the water line where it is read from the deck and from the water. It is set and grouted like the rest of the band, so it is straightforward work when the tile line is being repaired or replaced.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What does this tile say?
FT, the abbreviation for feet. It is the letter tile that finishes a depth marking such as 3 FT or 5 FT.
How many tiles do I need?
That depends on the depth you are marking. Each number and each letter is its own 6x6 tile, so a 3 FT marking takes the 3 tile plus this FT tile.
Is this a smooth tile or a non slip tile?
Smooth. It is the waterline version, meant for the tile band at the water line rather than for a walking surface.
How big are the letters?
4 inches tall on a 6 inch by 6 inch tile.
