Product details

The Inlays CPC00021 is a blue non-skid safety edge tile, set at the edge of a pool step so the drop is visible and the footing is secure.

What it is for

Wet step edges disappear underwater, and a swimmer stepping onto one they did not see is how most step falls happen. A contrasting tile along the nose of the step draws the eye to it from above and gives the foot a surface with grip.

The surface

The skid resistance is made into the tile at the factory rather than sanded or coated on afterwards, so there is no finish to wear off. The tile is also frost resistant and is installed as a permanent part of the step.

One tile. Inlays sells the safety edge tile each, and the full case quantity is 28.
What are the dimensions?
The source lists the tile as 2"x6"x1" with a 1/4" thickness. Those two figures do not agree with each other, so measure the run you are tiling and confirm the depth before ordering a full job.
Is the non-skid surface applied or built in?
Built in. It is a factory skid resistant surface, not a coating or a sanded finish that can wear through.
