NPT BX44 is the Lake Blue color in the 2 inch by 2 inch Glazed Collection mosaic. The 2 inch tile series is a versatile format that comes in a wide range of colors and textures, and this is one of the bolder blues in it.
Why it is porcelain
Porcelain is the only tile type recommended for pools, spas and water features. The difference from other tile is really quality rather than category: the clay is purer and more refined, which makes the finished tile tougher, denser and much closer to impervious. That translates into a tile that resists staining and holds up to frost, and this one is rated frost proof and chemical resistant.
Ordering and coverage
The tile is sold by the square foot only. Each sheet covers 1.07 sq ft, a case holds 20 sheets, and a full case is 21.4 sq ft. The case number is there as a reference point, not as the unit you buy in. Tile is .50 inch thick.
