Product details

Gladon Foam Bond is a pressure sensitive aerosol adhesive in a 24 oz. can, made for bonding pool wall foam. It sticks foam to itself and to concrete, wood and other surfaces that normally resist adhesive.

Why installers use it

Gladon developed the formula through years of work with pool installers, and it is packaged with the high volume spray nozzle that suits the job. The adhesive is blue, which sounds like a small thing until you are working around a pool wall and need to see at a glance where you have already sprayed.

Working with it

It is intended for vinyl liner pool wall foam. Spray in open air, since aerosol adhesive drifts further than you expect, and cover any liner, decking or vehicle nearby that you do not want to find tacky afterwards. Work in sections and keep the coverage even rather than laying it on heavily in patches.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

What will this adhesive stick to?
Wall foam to itself, and foam to concrete, wood and other surfaces that are hard to bond.
Why is the adhesive blue?
So you can see exactly where it has already been applied, which matters when you are spraying a whole pool wall.
Is it made for vinyl liner pools?
Yes. It is designed for use with vinyl liner pool wall foam.
How many cans will I need?
Our facts do not give a coverage figure. Coverage depends on the surface and how heavily you spray, so buy a spare rather than stopping halfway around a wall.
