Product details

SuperPro GO-KIT6-9 is the rebuild kit for Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas and Dura-Glas pumps. It carries every gasket and o-ring the pump needs to be put back together after a motor replacement, along with the shaft seal.

What is in the box

One O-240 housing o-ring, one G-99RS gasket, one O-49 diffuser o-ring, one AS-100 shaft seal and one O-218 lid o-ring.

Why the whole set

Changing a motor means separating the seal plate from the pot, pulling the diffuser and breaking the shaft seal. Rubber that has been compressed and heat cycled for years does not seal again once it has been disturbed, so a rebuild that reuses the old parts tends to come back as a drip within a season. Doing the lot at once costs less than going back in.
