The SuperPro GO-KIT1-9 is the seal and rebuild kit for Hayward Max-Flo pumps. It carries one housing o-ring or gasket, one diffuser o-ring or gasket, one lid gasket and one pump seal.

Why the whole kit

Most Max-Flo pumps get opened for one reason, usually a dripping shaft seal or a lid that will not hold prime. By the time the pump is apart, every other rubber part in it has had the same years of heat and chemistry, and it has taken a set. Fitting one new part against three tired ones is how a pump ends up on the bench twice in a season. This kit covers the standard wear points in a single order.

Fitting

Work from the parts breakdown for the Max-Flo 1800 and 2800 models. A silicone o-ring lubricant on the lid gasket and the housing o-ring makes assembly easier and helps the seals last, and it is worth cleaning the sealing faces properly before anything goes back together.
